Sam Portfolio

Founder of Amy's Agro Acres

Everyone has their own hobbies and interests; I am not a exception. In this COVID-19 lockdown situation, the hobby I started loving is ‘Cultivation of Agronomic crop on my house’. Mainly I have started this house farming since march,2020. At first my target was to observe the growth stage of the crops and after that I used to pass time with these very pleasantly and I am continuing this work till now after my Bachelor of Engineering Technology (Electrical and Electronic) (Hons).

I’ve raised and observed the crops on their growth stages . I learn a lots of things from this & I can’t expect more anything than this. Being jobless and sitting at home for 2 years, decided to attend few agricultural courses to improve my knowledge. During my studies I’ve been to Agronomy field practical, now converted my house farming into practical field.

After raising crops with my own hand for 2 years I feel wealthy, happy and practically strong. This CROP PORTFOLIO of COVID-19 Lockdown situation will be there with me forever.

Our Social Agenda

Farmers

Empowering small farmers by helping them improve their overall quality, harvest, and gain access to consumers so that they can be better compensated for their labour.

Customers

Promoting consumer health and wellness by providing safe and wholesome food at a reasonable price.

Thanks to our customers’ support in journeying with us and making a difference. Here are some major milestones in our journey so far:

  • More than 20,000 produce sourced from the farms.
  • More than 1,300 customers regularly enjoy fresh produce from the farms.
  • Used only recyclable and biodegradable materials, and no single-use plastics
  • Provided free produce to 500 urban poor families during MCO
Partnered with Dignity for Children Foundation to feed 1,200 children, staff and volunteers.
  • Empowered local farmers by helping them move online and paying them fair trade.

There is still lots to do and we can’t achieve it without your support in encouraging more people to purchase fresh produce directly from farms.
